While the rest of us are working hard towards renewing ourselves with worthwhile new year resolutions, the rumor mill that is Hollywood, is busy letting everyone know it's business as usual.
Star magazine have wasted no time in tantalizing our gossip taste buds in 2009 by declaring that Nicole Richie is already planning for a second child. The January issue of the popular US mag claims "Nicole is taking vitamins, eating healthy and designing trendy maternity wear in preparation for her second pregnancy." Sources also told Star, "Nicole simply told Joel she wants another baby - right away. He was a little overwhelmed at first but now he's with her 100 percent".
Well I guess all we can do is watch this space!

Quite the busy and wild night Lady GaGa had for New Year's, hmmm? The singer was spotted in her usual leotard-slash-panties get-up, and performed at Webster Hall in New York for a rowdy crowd. I have a feeling that Lady G spent yesterday recuperating after the big night-- especially from the looks of things here!

Ashlee Simpson may have embraced her more mature side through motherhood but that didn't stop the Hollywood starlet from celebrating the New Year in style. What's more, the stunning singer saw in 2009 with a new look!
The buxom singer stepped onto the red carpet at Pure Nightclub to reveal a return to her former shade of blonde. Once inside Ashlee danced with her husband Pete Wentz, before initiating the countdown at midnight with all the party goers.
Photographers reported that Pete could be seen grabbing a magnum bottle of Veuve before his wife decided to plant massive french kiss on his lips! Looks like blondes do have more fun!

Update: The mystery man has been identified! The graying man is British art dealer Jay Jopling. He's 45-years-old, 22-years-older than Lily (she's 23).
A bronzed Lily Allen has continued her penchant for older men by starting 2009 in the arms of a new man. Today Splash snapped the London starlet in sunny St. Barts, happily kissing her aging beau in front of the watchful paparazzi.
The singer, in a loose dress and neon bra, frolicked on the bow of a yacht in the Caribbean and made the most of the romantic setting by enjoying a passionate clinch with her silver fox. We can't wait for the identity of this mystery man to be revealed!
