Kate Hudson is hardly a SoCal gal when she's bundled up in New York! This weekend brought along spa-visiting sessions and Starbucks runs as Kate zipped around in her white leggings. It looks like the New Year is treating her well, don't you think?
In a recent interview with Elle (February issue), Kate commented on people saying that she lacks range. Kate said that "I could be in an interview and people would keep going, 'So why do you always do romantic comedies?' Do I want to do darker roles? Of course. It has to be the right thing, though. I'm not just going to, like, make a movie that's, Oh, she's a whore, prostitute, and heroin addict."
Maybe we'll see her try something new for 2009, then? I would love it if she went beyond a rom-com!

Jessica Simpson Tony Romo headed out of the airport with injured boyfriend Tony Romo looking like she's managed to sneak in some resting with all that nursing. The two touched down in Dallas after spending time in Miami, with Tony sporting an "Almost Handsome" tee. Is there a surprise (read: baby bump) under that poncho? We'll have to wait and see!

Jared Leto has been spotted again in Miami-- but he was looking even more covered up than before. It looks like the paparazzi attention was enough for Jared to seek refuge under a hoodie, but it's as hot as blazes right now, so he couldn't have kept it up for long. Even rockers-slash-actors aren't immune to the heat!
Does he look a bit "Michael Jackson-esque" to anyone else?

Fergie's got her wedding coming up, and she recently said that she'll be working out every day before the big event-- it looks like it's true! The big day is January 10th, and Fergie was seen bundled up in a striped coat and stretch pants as she warmed up with her trainer.
Hasn't Fergie always seemed like she's toned? I can't remember when the last time she looked even remotely out of shape.

Wondering why Lindsay Lohan doesn't look pleased? Maybe it's because more rumors have surfaced about her fighting with Samantha Ronson-- this time in an airport. TMZ reported yesterday that the couple had a tiff in Miami International, with Lindsay ending up "so inconsolable the flight attendants asked if she'd like to disembark."
Lindsay was spotted this Friday going to a friend's house looking slim and glum.
